About the Course
This Higher Diploma Programme in Chaplaincy covers 13 modules and provides a “Pathway” to Degree courses offered at the College. Students can complete the programme by attending One (1) Lecture per month on Saturdays (11.00 am – 5.00 pm) at Spurgeons College, South Norwood, London, SE25 6DJ.
The course is ideal for Students who wish to pursue a career in Christian Pastoral Ministry
Placements
Placement is an important component of this course. The purpose of placement is to enable students to integrate Theology and practice of Pastoral Ministry.
The College will endeavour to assist students to find suitable placements where students are unable to do so.
Students who successfully complete their programme may proceed to do a Degree Programme offered at the College
Ministerial Accreditation Licensing & Ordination
Students who successfully complete the programme can apply for
Ministerial Accreditation, with possibility of Ordination by Churches in Communities International (CIC) after an appropriate probational period, subject to status. CIC is a member of the Free Churches Group, Churches Together in England and Evangelical Alliance.
Admission
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must hold a Diploma in Theology or Biblical Studies from a recognised Institution
- Mature students with Experience in Pastoral Ministry will be considered, subject to a successful interview with the Course Director.

Option 2: Payment by Standing Order £200.00 @12 months = £2,400.00
